Blossomed Clay Bowl

This wheel thrown stoneware bowl was fired in a noborigama wood kiln. Glazed on the inside with a creamy white matte glaze, and blue streaks. The exterior is raw clay, carved tendrils from the squiggled foot. The 36 hour firing left deposits of wood ash on part of the outside, and slight flashing. A vintage flower decal was fired in an electric kiln for a second time to secure it. Very faint scratch on a small area (see third photo) Dishwasher safe, measures 6 1/2" x 2 1/2"
